Small-group reformer Pilates · La Jolla

Strength, slowly.

GLIDE METHOD

The GLIDE difference

The workout is intense. The environment is quiet.

  1. 01

    The room

10 reformers, open to the coast. Enough space to move, enough attention to feel coached.

  2. 02

    The method

45 minutes of controlled, full-body reformer work.

  3. 03

    The coaching

Small classes, precise instruction. No getting lost in the room.

Classes

Three classes. One method.

  • A full GLIDE 45 class on the reformers, the ocean wall open behind them

    45 min

    GLIDE 45

The signature class. Full-body strength, slow and controlled, every muscle under tension.

  • An instructor adjusts a client’s position on the reformer

    45 min

    Foundations 45

Technique and reformer set-up. Where every first class starts.

  • A woman in a plank on the reformer in slatted light, the ocean beyond

    45 min

    Focus 45

A rotating emphasis: upper body and core one week, lower body the next.

The building

The room moves with the weather.

On clear days, the glass wall slides away to the coast. When the weather turns, it closes. Same room, same class — shaped by the conditions outside.

The studio with the ocean glass wall stacked fully open on a sunny day

Studio modeOpen

Open

Glass wall stacked away. Light, air and the coast move straight through the room.

The same studio with the glass wall closed on a gray day

Studio modeEnclosed

Enclosed

Glass wall closed when rain, marine layer or cooler weather moves in. Same view, same room, protected from the elements.

The machine

The reformer.

Classic by design. Finished for GLIDE. 10 reformers, 45 minutes, full-body movement.

Studios

Two studios. One open, one coming.

Inside GLIDE La Jolla: ten reformers under the slatted glass roof, the logo on the limewash wall

GLIDE La Jolla · Open

The Coastal Studio

Limewash, pale stone and a glass wall open to the ocean.

GLIDE Little Italy in the evening: warm light, the logo on the wall, the city beyond the glass

GLIDE Little Italy · Coming soon

The City Studio

Same method. Same reformers. A new light, downtown.
